Mrs. Angel Whitaker Royster, entered into eternal rest on Friday, June 3, 2022 in North Carolina.
Graveside services were held on Saturday, June 11,2022 @ 11 a.m. at Samuel Grove Baptist Church, Tennille, GA . Rev. Eric Adams officiated.
Angel was born on January 22, 1976, to Mr. Steve and Linda Whitaker of Washington County. She graduated from Washington County High School in 1995. Angel was a member of Samuel Grove Baptist Church.
Angel was a heart transplant recipient and survivor. Her favorite verse was Philippians 4:13 “I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.”

Angel was survived by her spouse: Jerry Royster, four sons: Sysco Whitaker, Malik Whitaker, Alexander Southerland, and Janson Royster; two sisters: Amanda Lamar (Antonio) of Sandersville, GA; Stephanie Timmons (Jake) Efland, NC; one brother: Steve Whitaker Jr. (Cindy) Hinesville, GA; Nieces: La’Tuya Lamar, Kayla Timmons, Te’Amber Lamar, Alajah Timmons, Torryiah Whitaker, Sincere Whitaker; Nephews: Stephon Whitaker, Jake Timmons III; Great Nieces: Summer Brown, Naomi Bowden; Goddaughter :Mya Henderson God Sisters: Jacqueline Maze, She’Londra Hilson; Devoted Friends: Diane Coleman, Tania Reid and a host of other relatives and friends.
Wheeler’s Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
