Wesley Wright

On the evening of Saturday, September 14, 2019, at the Washington County Regional Medical Center, Mr. Wesley Wright of Wrightsville, transitioned back to the arms of his Creator.

Funeral services for Wesley were held on Saturday, September 21, 2019, at 3:00 p.m. from the Scotts Chapel Baptist, Pringle, GA with the Rev. Tracy Wheeler, Sr., officiating.  Interment followed in the church cemetery.

Born to the parentage of Johnnie Mae Wright and the late Jimmy Wright  of Wrightsville, Wesley was born on March 27, 1959 . He attended the public schools of Johnson and Washington Counties and later enlisted in the U.S Army where he served from 1980-1985. His military travels included Fort Braggs, Mon Belgium,Europe, Vilseck Germany and Bremerhaven,Germany. 

In addition to his father, Wesley was preceded in death by a daughter ; Milady Wright.

In addition to his mother Mrs. Johnnie Mae Wright, Wesley is survived by his loving children, Tawhan Taylor, Sheree Taylor, both of Wrightsville,GA;his beloved grandchildren; Jamilah Page,Nautical Jordan and Derrick Taylor, Wrightsville, one great grandson; Jordyn Howard, Wrightsville his brothers ; Larry (Katie) Wright, Wrightsville,Randy Wright, Pringle, Danny (Tawanda) Wright, Harrison, Elton Wright, Terry Wright, Sandersville, Earlton Wright, Atlanta, Aunts; Annie Lois (Charles) Wright, Wrightsville, Madie Thomas,Marquita Robinson both of Pringle,Daisy (Willie James) Wright, Miami,FL,Geraldine Wright and Ora L. Williams, both of Wrightsville, Uncle’s; Johnny Paul (Cubbie) Wright, Miami,FL,Sylvester (Charlene) King, Harrison, Jarret Wright, Miami,FL, his former wife Phyliss Phillips and his many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
