John Willie Lymon

Mr. John Willie Lymon passed away on Tuesday, January 7, 2020 at the Oconee Health and Rehabilitation Center , Oconee, GA .

Funeral services for  Mr. Lyman were held on Saturday , January 11 , 2020 at 11 a.m.  at Mt. Olive Baptist Church, Warthen, GA . Burial followed in the Church Cemetery.

He was born on June 29, 1946 to the parentage of the late John Lee Lymon and Rosa Bell Roberson Lymon. 

He was married to the former Mary Armstrong of Sandersville. 

Along with his parents He was preceded in death by  a sister:Gladys Warthen and a stepdaughter,Jackie Maze Jackson.

Jon Willie had the gift of gardening and as a resident of Oconee Health ,he was an unofficial staff member helping with everyone and everything thing from housekeeping to handyman.

For he truly loved his family.

 John Willie’s life and legacy will be cherished forever by his children,Dorothy Lymon,Sandersville ,Janis (Timothy) Evans, Hephzibah,Christina (A.D. ) Davis and John E. Lymon ,both of Sandersville, thirteen grandchildren , seven great grandchildren,sisters, Hoyce Farley-Bell (Willie) Dillard, Macon,Debbie Lymon,Pier Thomas,Johnnie M. Brown , all of Sandersville ,brothers,Ronnie Lymon, Sandersville Larry Lymon, Atlanta,a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
