Ms. Annette Jackson departed her life on Saturday, March 2, 2019 at the Washington County Regional Medical Center under the care of Pruitt Hospice.
She was the daughter of the late Lucius Jackson and the late Essie Lee Culbreath Jackson. Annette was born November 25, 1963 in Sandersville ,Georgia.
She joined Oak Grove Baptist Church at an early age. She was a 1981 graduate of Washington County High School .
Annette was a certified nurse assistant for many years. In 1999 she began her career with the Georgia Department of Transportation ,where she retired in 2016 due to her declining health.
In addition to her parents, Annette was also preceded in death by two granddaughters, Sarenity Quari and Megan Kei’Zion Sanford, a sister, Darlene Jackson ,a brother, Larry Lee Jackson, her aunt, Evenlyn B. Jackson and two nephews, Kristophius Jackson and Alex Pierce.
Annette was a hardworking, loving and caring mother. She was also a very awesome grandmother. She loved helping any and everyone that she could.
Annette‘s memories will be forever cherished by her loving daughter, Anquenetta Monique (Roderick) Sanford, her caring son ,Mario Kenyotta (Shandreka) Jackson , three sisters: Maggie L. Jackson of Sandersville, Mary Overstreet of Savannah, and Mary N. May of Sandersville ,three brothers: Louis (Carolyn) Jackson, Sr. of Covington, Melvin Jackson of Tacoma, Washington, and Michael (Pamela) Jackson of Warthen ,two grandsons: Caleb A. Watts and Landon C. Watts both of Sandersville , and a host of other nieces,nephews, cousins ,relatives and friends. .
